About Us

Encore Event Rentals may be a new name in the region, but the owners and staff are not.  Encore’s story began in 1983 when Harold Sater opened a Taylor Rental in Shreveport, LA.  The 800 square foot showroom with a handful of lawn mowers, tillers, and small hand tools quickly became a success in the community and grew more quickly than expected.  In 1984 Harold purchased A&A Tent Productions.  The small purchase of firework tents was the start of the event rental side of the company.  Over the next two decades Taylor Rental’s party and event business outgrew the contractor side and in 2007 Harold split the company and sold Taylor Rental to solely run A&A Tent Productions.  With the addition of event management, sound and lighting, and trade show production capabilities, A&A Tent Productions was no longer a suitable name for the company and thus Encore Event Rentals was created.

We have over 30 years experience and we are a proud member of the American Rental Association.
